Cuz
I would like to know if the MGW site pusher tool will work to install the Dawson Precision adjustable rear sight on my Glock 17. It's my understanding that these tools are normally only for the standard Glock fixed sights and don't work with other manufactures adjustable sights. Can anyone provide any more info as to whether or not they will work? Thanks, Cuz
ihatepickles
The MGW tool will work for just about any sight. Dawson sights come with a soft tipped punch for sight installation. Put the slide in a soft jawed vise and you can drive the rear sight into the dovetail with the included tool.
kamann
I bought one from Matt at CGR. The vise and punch is ok i quess, but the tool makes it so much easier.
Shawn Knight
I have the MGW tool and installed the Hienie rear sight on my G17 and it worked great. Good tool for adjusting too.

dohboy
We recently used the MGW sight pusher to install factory Glock sights, Dawson fixed, Sevigny competition and Heinie (standard and Slant Pro). It is a good deal versus the sight tool that Glock sells. You save about $20 AND the MGW will work on the large frame guns as well (G20/21).
