  1. Just to clarify, I'm referring to the Sjc/kkm gunsmith fit pre fit barrel from Sjc Customs directly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. None, it's one of their gunsmith fit pre fit barrels. Steave told me there is no difference between it and one they actually fit. I got lucky with it because it runs great. I can load out to 1.150 no problem with it. I'm sure an actual fit barrel to your gun would be better, but this one is good enough. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. There's not. I can clearly see more support in my SJC/KKM fitted barrel, even more so than the regular drop in KKM barrels.
  4. So would the G34 Lonewolf slide be legal now? I know the bull front is slightly angled on the end. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I actually use the original cmore sts 7 moa, because I already had it. It works great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. G17 with c-more sts in dovetail mount. I already know I want my slide milled to get the dot lower.
  7. I would go with the sjc/kkm barrel. It has more case support than my regular kkm drop in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Also shot my first carry optics match and loved it! I already think I want my slide milled to get the sight lower. I shot a 74.59% classifier on steely speed vii, which was good for me, never placed that high in production. I like this division and am super happy with this setup. 9. Wow, I am sold. My G17 with a 13 lb recoil spring & tungston guiderod, Vanek Classic Grandmaster trigger system with Jager lenghtend striker & 4 lb striker spring, and a 147 gr Xtreme bullet under 3.2 gr Titegroup and my dot hardly left the target. It wasn't bouncing around at all. I just sighted it in today at the range and put about 100 rnds thru it and am ecstatic. I'm shooting my first match in Carry Optics Saturday and can't wait. I've been shooting Production for years now, and am more excited about this setup than ever! I think I am really going to like this new Division.
  10. Do you actually have one set up? I am extremely skeptical of people making these statements, given my personal experience, and the fact that it seems every one of these remarks has been made without actually having weighed all of the prospective pieces, let alone actually have an actual pistol set up that way. My Compact set up for CO now weighs in at 44.55oz. It is currently wearing a set of VZs, which are comparable in weight to the aluminum scale grips (if anything, the VZs are actually lighter). Note that the scale grips are only marginally lighter than the CZC thin aluminum, and both are on the higher end of the weight scale. A full-size will be able to make weight, but you are going to have to play with the parts and/or mags to make it - you won't be able to just use whatever you'd like. A CZ 75b makes it without any issues, as long as you use the JPoint optic (1/2 oz.) It comes with a short plastic guide rod, and a LHS only safety. It also comes with plastic grips which are significantly lighter than other grips i've weighed. I prefer the rubber grips, but they are triple the weight of the plastic grips (1.2 oz per side, vs 0.4 oz per side.) http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=221731&p=2488703 Wow l might have to do this. I just weighed my 75 BD with Jpoint on mount in dovetail, with the rubber grips and empty mag, and scale said 36 ounces. Man that might work, this gun tracks the dot great with minor. Now I'm all excited. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Ok sounds good. I know it's not feasible to think it can track like a compensated open gun. I'm going to try some different minor loads as well. 147, 124 and maybe even some 115's with a fast powder and see which one gives me decent sight tracking. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Are you guys happy with being able to track the dot? It seems like my dot is bouncing all over the place compared to the frame mounted dots on a major 9. Any tips for loads or grip on my G17 with a dovetail cmore sts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I like the 7 moa on my cmore sts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Here we go I think. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Honestly I'm excited about this new division. I took my open G17 setup back to Production rules but left the dot, and with my 147gr. soft minor loads I couldn't be happier with this setup. I also love that I can use my 140 mm mags. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. 14 lb Wolff for major is what i use.
  17. That looks nice and would be a good ESP trigger, but SSP requires no external visible modifications. The adjustable pre-travel screw is visible on the trigger. Not legal for USPSA Production Division either.
  18. Good advice. I have used all of the triggers you named and they are all good. Actually Charlie does have one with all the pre travel taken out pre built, I think its the Super Trigger on his website, I have one in my open Glock. He modifies it to keep all the safety's intact. Where you would normally let it out at the reset is where it stops. Great trigger, but not Production legal.
  19. Yes there are many out there that do Glock triggers that probably do fine work, but as far as I know Charlie Vanek was one of among the first doing it years ago, so you're getting his wealth of knowledge and experience of building many many many of them that are reliable. I have had his triggers in all my Glocks for 8 years now with no problems. Smooth as glass, light and crisp.
  20. SJC is now selling their threaded gunsmith fit pre fit SJC/KKM barrels. I got one and the lockup and accuracy is excellent. I can load out to 1.150 no problem, and it is a fully supported match chamber, even more support than the standard KKM drop in I once bought.
  21. Vanek Customs Classic Grandmaster kit, USPSA Production legal, don't know about SSP. About 3 lbs. give or take. Very reliable in my G34 over the past few years with no light strikes.
  22. Personal opinion, but I don't like the rear serated sights, it justs distracts me. I much prefer the smooth black back of the Sevigney competitions.
  23. I think SJC sells them complete, or at least they used to. I thought it would be to big and keep hitting it, but when it was on my G17 open gun it didn't, not even weak hand.
  24. Ok my mistake then, it has the pre-travel screw in the housing, but the safety tab has not been engaged. I don't see the benefit though because there is not much pre-travel to be taken out with out trimming the safety tab. I said engaged. But meant to say the safety tab as not been trimmed. There just is not much pre-travel to be taken out of the trigger without trimming or otherwise modifying the safety tab which would make it illegal for Production because it would be an external visible mod, because you changed the outside stock appearance of the trigger.
