From what I could tell, the official NRR is 19 on those, and at least one online seller suggests using something better at indoor ranges, with normal guns, so I'm thinking they're a no for comp guns. Bummer.

I see on the website that they block any noise above 80db. I have one question....

Do they work indoors when someone is shootinga comp-gun?

I would say "no". Physics says you can't just block any noise above a set level, all you can do is attenuate it. Given that, I found a place online that lists an attenuation rating (NRR) of 19 (and suggests not using them indoors, comp gun or not) There's no way I'd rely on a NRR 19 device indoors with a comp gun.

Nope, I would not use them by themselves for shooting USPSA or indoors. But the great thing is their great to wear when your not on the line or ROing. Just wear them by themselves. When it's time to go to the line, throw a set of muffs over them. Nice and cool off the line and plenty of protection.
