Dave Sample
Thought I would show you some pics of a 1911 we just completed before it goes home. This is our new Pin Gun that we threw together as a fun project just to keep my hand in. I hope you like it.
TreblePlink
Very nice work. I was wondering, what do you do for a recoil spring and guide rod with a six inch slide and a standard length frame?
Matt Cheely
"Threw together" ? Riiiiiight...... Spiffy
tightloop
I know it is the style right now...but the front sight looks soooooo much better when it is soldered into place instead of that goofball dovetail cut in the top of the slide...IMO... Other than that , great piece..
benny hill
OH, hell yes. My style of gun. Being down here in S. texas , it blends right in. I am going to build me one w/ engraveing for the beer & bar-b-que's. I have alway's liked engraved guns.

vincent
Engraved 1911's are so nice. Yet another item I need to add to my collection.
Patrick Sweeney
Most longslides use a recoil spring plug that is filled so the spring length inside is the same as on a 5". Thus, standard springs and guide rod. Unless this is something really cool? I'm sure for a fee Wolff will custom-wind springs for anything you need.
