Paradox Posted October 16, 2006 Share Posted October 16, 2006 Locally, we started using one of the 'school lunchroom' type chairs (metal frame with solid plastic seat). Instead of using the term 'back against chair' we modified it to say "back and or magazines against back of chair". I have noticed far fewer equipment related malfunctions and complaints since doing it this way. Personally, I find the laying on table starts far more uncomfortable than chair starts.... XRe Posted October 16, 2006 Share Posted October 16, 2006 Just FWIW, two of the chair starts at the Nats were set up so that you were sitting on the chair backwards, facing downrange. The third was "knees below table", so no "back on backrest" stipulation.
