mjbine
Where can I purchase a .22 conversion kit for my P16-40? If anyone has one please let if you had any problems with them. Thanks
mike cyrwus
any 1911 kit will work; ciener, marvel, kimber, take your pick. I had a ciener and I was really pleased with its operation.
shred
Well, you'll need one with magazines that fit the P16... the usual single-stackers won't stay in. After that, there's sometimes a little fitting to be done (I had to open the ejector channel on my Ceiner-STI hybrid), but usually not.

mjbine
Which one Unit 1 or Unit 2?
Shawn Knight
What do you want? comander length, full size or long slide? For a limited gun go with the Unit 1 with sight rib.

mjbine
Yes I am using it for a limited gun. So unit 1 is what I should go with. Thanks and thanks to all the replied.
f250sd
why the unit 1, and not the 2?
Shawn Knight
Unit 1 is the better of the 2 units. It has sights fixed to the barrel instead of on a moving slide. If you want the feel and sight movment of you limited gun the Unit 2 would be better for training. I find I like the most accurate gun I can get so I like the Unit 1. Also Unit 1 has an interchangeable sight rib. You can put a weaver type rail on top for optics(in my case an Aimpoint copy) or the regular sights. I am not sure what type of front sight cut they are using but you might have to get with them to find out if you can run a Fiber Optic on it.
