f250sd
During my practice sessions I like to do a head shot only El Pres. I think it really helps on seeing my front sight for each shot. Anyone else try this. I usually can run it in the high6's to low 7's with no misses.
davidball
I incorporate "head shot" versions of several drills. I find it helps improve my trigger pull.
dirtypool40
I get similar change of focus training shooting EP at 25y. I like to move up and back in distance and keep hitting snappy draws and loads while slowing down to "see what I need to see" at the different distances. I also check to see that draw and load, while getting progressively slower, remain within a tenth or so of each other. Same with Splits vs. transitions. eerw
I incorporate similar drills..either the upper A/B, longer distances or plate racks.. all to work on seeing what I need to see.. also will do SHO and WHO.
XD Niner
I tried this today. It is an excellent drill. Too bad I didn't shoot that way. Thanks for the suggestion.
