Genghis Posted April 25, 2006 Share Posted April 25, 2006 Reading some of the discussion about the fire marshal searching your house, I found myself wondering how many other lawyers are on the Benos forum. I handle gun-related cases and speak at CLE seminars, and sometimes have a question about laws in other states, or a client to refer to someone in another state. it would be good to have a list of lawyers in various other states who know about shooting and gun laws. I don't know...... history teaches us that putting names on a list is the first step towards rounding them all up! I cracked up at the comedian on jay Leno who said the reason Dick Cheney's approval rating is so low is because he had a loaded gun and a clear shot at a lawyer but couldn't get him....... Just kidding. Actually, I'd like to see a reference to a compilation of the various state's gun laws..... would be useful in selecting a new home when I leave the Empire of Nazifornia. straightshooter1 Posted April 28, 2006 Share Posted April 28, 2006 (edited) I am a career prosecutor, was a cop for almost eleven years before law school and will have 25 years with the State Attorney's Office on June 1st.
