Rob Boudrie
Just passed and signed by gov. Ind. is now the first and only state to have a lifetime carry!same rules for losing it as before (felonys). $100.00. love indiana NY has had lifetime carry permits (subject to the whims of the licensing judge) in counties outside the greater NYC area for decades. In many parts of NY these permits (whcih are not valid in NYC, but are good in the rest of the state except for schools and the usual federal places) are routinely issued even though they are not shall-issue by statute. Flyin40
Wish Ohio would go that way. Ohio has CCW now but some dumb rules to go with it. Sometimes it feels like Ohio is going to end up like that other country, ya know, California. Flyin40 Edited March 20, 2006 by Flyin40

Clay1
Can't say I would ever say that I am envious of California about any gun legislation, but they do issue concealed carry permits and Wisconsin still does not.
Chills1994
That and the People's Republic of Illinois. Read my signature line. Can't we force Sick-ogo to be it's own entity like DC? Oh, I'm sorry this was a "What I like rant" not a Hate subforum. Congrats on your lifetime carry in Indiana.

Chills1994
+10 on voting the current IL governor out of office. After his latest State of the State address which basically spelled out a chicken in every pot strategy, the Repulican Treasurer Judy Barr Topinka said: "He's living in his own reality....." Yep, Judy, that pretty much sums it up. Did I mention he is pushing for the state's own AWB to include .50 cal rifles? Some people just don't get it. I'm liking Indiana and Missouri more and more.
