John Baier
A buddy of Mine is starting out and has a G34 and he wants to put XO Express sights on it. Would he be legal? I questioned it because it not a "notch and post sight" Thanks John Edited March 15, 2006 by John Baier

ima45dv8
It is considered a notch-and-post sight, and is legal for Production. I feel Jake's pain. It may be legal, but it ain't a good idea.

diehli
Legal, but useless. The XD Skills Challenge in Norco, CA several years ago had a night match. XO-sighted guns were supplied for that part of the match (there was also a Streamlight M6-equipped gun). Taran cleaned up with all the guns, but it was nearly impossible for most to shoot the (relatively close) steel that the stages consisted of with the XO small and big dot sights. Forget about any type of accuracy (meaning hitting the lower A-zone beyond 5 yards) with these sights. If you have to, lie to him and tell him they aren't legal. LPatterson
Makes a great steel gun sight, at 10 yards the big dot completely covers an 8" plate. Hide the plate, hit the plate.
Crusher
I love to see those sights on the competitons guns at the local/major matches be it USPSA or IDPA. The ONLY thing they can't miss is that "BOWLING BALL" sitting on the front of the slide.
