Dan0
I've been using non slip deck tape and skate board tape under my trigger gaurd, but I'm tired of replacing so often. Can some PLEASE give me an alternative i.e. home grown stippling or checkering. Dan0
diehli
Production? Stick with the skate tape. Lim/L10/Open, serrate the underside of the trigger guard ala Matt Burkett. On plastic grips (Glocks and S_Is) it's easy. On steel, probably quite a bit harder; never done it myself.
eerw
for divisions where legal.. take a 20lpi checkering file and serrate across the trigger guard.. MattB showed me this...works great..allows your fingers to slide across and not stick like checkering or grip tape will do, but allows your hands to lock into the triggerguard as they will not shift forward or back.. easy to do on the plastic frame..a little more elbow grease on a steel frame
Dan0
Guess I shoulda' told yall it's a Para Hi Cap. Will get a checkering file from Brownells. Looks like Page 247 of Catalog #58. Is there Matt Burkett instructions, or do I jusr figure it out??? Dan0 Edited February 5, 2006 by Dan0
Interceptor
Just fix it in a vise and go VERY slowly. Since your not worried about diamonds, just grooves, you just want to focus on keeping them even and perpindicular to the trigger guared. Go SLOW and use the same side of the file for the entire operation.
konkapot
Just don't ask Interceptor to do it for you.....ends up looking like Chimp Day at Home Depot
