JZ
Are the plastic backstrap channel inserts (plugs) for Glocks allowed in USPSA production class?

EricW
[Kung Fu Fighting Mode On] My $.02 on the "plugs" for Glocks: Other than cosmetics, these devices serve no other useful purpose beside concealing the lead/tungsten plug you hid in the backstrap. Despite the hype, they don't increase reliability by keeping water/lint out of your action. The hole is there to allow water and/or gunk to drain OUT of your action when your gun gets dunked. If you're shooting Production, save your $7 for something worthwhile. If you secretly want to be a Navy Seal, save your money for something worthwhile... JZ
The one that Glockmeister sells looks like it would help when reloading the gun. It fills in the hole in the backstrap that a mag could hang up on.
EricW
JZ, If you want to shoot Lim/Lim10 and that plug gives you good mojo - go for it. Never had a mag hang up there, but I'm not saying it can't happen. [Kung Fu Fighting Mode OFF] E
