    .22 LR Glock Top Ends

Does anyone make a 22LR top end that has the same dimensions/length as a G34 or G35? All I've seen so far has been G17 and G22 length models.

    Match Grade Barrel

Here's another question. The Glock 35 barrel (40s&w) isn't fully supported which causes fired cases to bulge a little bit on the bottom. Even after resizing them with my 550 they are still not 100% and I wouldn't trust them in a match. Is it worth replacing the factory barrel with a fully supported aftermarket one to eliminate this problem or can it be corrected with the proper resizing die. Skeeter, How did KB your 24 barrel?

    Match Grade Barrel

Is installing a match barrel in a Glock worth the money? Is the gun really much more accurate then the factory barrel? Also is it better to buy a barrel that drops in (Reliabily Question) or a barrel that needs to be fitted? Does one caliber like the 40S&W get more accuracy out of a replacement barrel than say a 9mm. This is for guns (G34 and G35) that I will only be using in USPSA production and limited 10. Please let me know about any problems or success you have had with after market barrels and Glocks. IWB draw

Vega, The best way to run a match like that would be to ask the shooters as a group if they are comfortable doing this and if they are provide them with the IWB holster and gun ( maybe a revolver with a heavy DA pull ). I doubt that all shooters have a IWB type holster for the gun that they use. This doesn't force them go out and buy an IWB for their gun. IDPA allows the use of IWB holsters as long as they are on the approved list. (Edited by JZ at 7:27 am on Mar. 21, 2002)
  6. Competition rule #14 only Applys to Vickers Scored stages(which allow you to shoot as many rounds as you want) not Limited Vickers stages (Which specify the amount of rounds that you can shoot). In Limited Vickers you can down load your pistol, say in SSP, To ten rounds or any even amount (There is no where in the rule book that says you can't do this!). So that you don't have to shot one round on a target, go to slide lock and then reengage that target with one round. If I'm wrong please point out the rule that says a shooter can't do this. Also if an SO trys to give you a procedural for downloading your pistol on a Limited Vickers stage ask him or her were in the rule book it says you can't do this. I'll bet you they can't find it! 7. Does anyone have any photos of a Glock with low mounted Bomars as done by EGW or CGR? (Edited by JZ at 9:24 am on Mar. 19, 2002)
  8. I put 500 rds of Rainer plated 115grn 9mm thru my G34 last week. It shot just like the fmj and I had no lead fowling in the barrel after. If you can get it cheaper than fmj Shoot as much of it as you want, its doesn't effect the gun any different.
  9. Compitition Rule #14 Autoloaders MUST begin any Vickers count string of fire requiring a reload with the pistol loaded to maximum capacity or the maximum capacity allowed in that division. In the case of SSP division , this would be 11 rounds total. You can start any Limited Vickers stages other than the classifier with your pistol down loaded say in SSP to 10 rounds so you can plan were your reload will be. I can't find anywhere in the rules that say different.

    Backstrap Channel Insert

The one that Glockmeister sells looks like it would help when reloading the gun. It fills in the hole in the backstrap that a mag could hang up on.
  11. Are the plastic backstrap channel inserts (plugs) for Glocks allowed in USPSA production class?
  12. This rule with out a doubt is the worst one in the book! It should be removed! In my opinion it is unenforceable. A Vickers course of fire allows the shooter to take as many shots on a target as they think they need! How does the SO know how many rounds you need? Your shooting the gun not the SO! At major matches I have seen Master class shooters go to slide lock quicker by shooting extra rounds at targets 5 feet away and not get a procedural. Boning a shooter for this is only going to make them mad and maybe go to another shooting sport.
