Middle Man
If the big Aimpoint is uber Dark Side, then the little J Point is most definitely Jedi mindtrick, stealthly Dark Side cool. If you didn't pay close attention you'd never see the thing...
Interceptor
Who built it? You've got to pimp your smith.
bberkley
Who built it? You've got to pimp your smith. He asked me not to reveal who he was until he delivered it and I was happy with it. I told him I was bragging him up, and he wanted me to wait until he was done and I had shot it without problems as he is just starting up. This is the 6th or 7th 9 Major he has built, all mostly top-ends for pistols he had in .38 Super or for other shooters. Mine is the first from nothing but parts. I went out with him this morning for a test-fire session, and I'm damn excited. The Aimpoint is rolled to the right so the EGW sidewinder doesn't hit the battery cap (i.e., the on/off knob is top-dead-center). It indexes nicely, and just runs flawless with a Beven Grams-tuned big stick. My smith is still fine-tuning the ejection, and then he will finish up the cosmetic stuff I want done and its mine. bberkley
Rob Shepherd is the guy who built this Major 9 STI for me. http://www.majornyneguns.com He was a real pleasure to work with and I thoroughly enjoyed the process of having him build me a pistol.
