Barrel / Chamber work - Who's had work done?

If you've had barrel / Chamber work done:

What were you trying to fix?

What did you have done? 

Who did you have do it? 

How much was it?

 

How are the results?

Would you recommend that shop?

 

It's likely throwing good money after bad but I'd like to get mine 100% reliable.  I feel like the symptoms point to an issue with a tight or short chamber and not enough throat / lead in.... 

The Walther SF Match is going to matches but I'd like to get the Canik "online" as a backup / loaner.

I've had the barrels reamed on all my Canik's / CZ's.

 

Most were sent to https://patriotdefense.com/search.php?search_query=ream&section=product for their service, my most recent barrel work (Rival-S) was done locally, reamed and ramp polished.

Extending the throat is fairly standard on CZ.  I've had 4 Cz's done.  All of them turned out just fine and are much easier to reload for now.  Cajun did one, CZ Custom did two, and automatic accuracy did one

I had my CZ barrels reamed by @MemphisMechanic. He did great work and the turnaround was very quick.

Barrel is out at Patriot Defence.  

I'll report back after I get it back and a chance to test it out.

Barrel is back, ammo that did not "plunk" now Plunks and turns.  Took it to the indoor range and put about 60 rounds though it and it ran fine.  

 

If you're having troubles with chambering, it's worth a try. 

Patriot turned it around in a couple of days.
