S&W M & P 2.0 Competitor recoil spring

I would like to shoot 110PF through my gun, tried it last night, and it won't cycle with the OEM stock recoil spring.

 

any suggestions?

Go to the Wolff gun springs website. They make a guide rod that will work for it and springs you can order different weights for it

Today I installed an 11-pound spring and went to test fire. (only spring I had)

 

it ran some of my 110pf but a few that didn't cycle were NOT stove pipes as I had from the stock heavy spring. The bullet that didn't enter the chamber was resting on the feed ramp in a downward position, as if it didn't strip as it should off the mag.

 

The spent casings that cycled flew about 3-4 feet at a 45-degree angle to me.

 

recommendations??? is the 11 too light or not light enough? I'm thinking I need to be heavier, as there is not enough forward speed on the slide.

Stock spring is 16lb, work down and see if you can make it run with your load.

ed brown 13 pound flat wire ran fair,(95%)

 

Wolfe 13 lb round wire ran with no issues. 5 full mags.

Also check your magazine springs.  The have a cycle life too.
