flyinverted Posted August 30, 2023 Share Posted August 30, 2023 Just spoke to an owner of a shop. He said that earlier in the year CZ reset all dealer statuses. Only 40 dealers got reinstated in the USA recently. This is why so many dealers were upset and there was a sudden drop in prices on the CZs. Truth on this ? shred Posted August 31, 2023 Share Posted August 31, 2023 A few months ago CZ-USA's marketing department apparently got Borged by the Colt acquisition, and if anyone knows how to sell handguns in this day and age it's Colt, amirite? Then because some marketing VP probably wanted a sweet sales bonus before pulling the ripcord, they threw down requirements like all dealers had to have a brick and mortar storefront and had to stock a whole package of CZ rifles, .22s, shotguns and pistols in order to buy anything CZ. A short while after that, they dropped dealer costs a hundo or two as an extra FU to the small dealers that didn't go along with the above scheme and might have some CZs in stock. ... Supposedly the parts department that ran solid when Hopkins was wielding the lash is now blown to pieces too. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The dealer at the range I frequent gave up on becoming an official CZ dealer due to poor service. (And their new terms) SSR still have cz stuff?
