Gloves, IPSC, still OK ?

Basically that, are gloves still OK to use according to the rulebook (PCC, Shotgun, Mini-Rifle, Rifle, etc) ?

5.3.1 The use of camouflage or other similar types of military or police garments other than by competitors who are law enforcement or military personnel is discouraged. The Match Director will be the final authority in respect of what garments must not be worn by competitors.

It is OK.

I can see how gloves (one or two) could be beneficial on some "long gun" stages.

Thanks ! Was looking at some 5.11 gloves for shooting during the winter months and just wanted to be 100 % sure that I could still use them for IPSC matches.

Have you tried on Mechanix gloves? Many seem to like them for light protection while finger dexterity is needed.

I wear Mechanix originals for regular non IPCS pistol shooting because they give me a better grip, now I'm looking at the 5.11 Taclite 4.0 mostly for winter shooting.
