Good/Bad ones? Open is hard on guns. Curious what things have been covered and/or voided the warranties on peoples guns.

Too many variables.  I sent a gun back to a builder for a cracked slide after about a year of use and over 50K rounds through it.  Upon closer inspection, he also found the frame was cracked in the center of the frame rails and the barrel was about done.  He actually rebuilt the entire gun for the price of the replacement components.  I thought that was way beyond fair.  The only original parts were from the fire control group - Hammer, trigger, sear, disco and sear spring.   Other builders might not be so generous.  So tough question to answer.

Only one company I know of with a lifetime warranty. I’ve had to send a gun in twice and both times they took care of it with no issue. Gun was over 30k round before the first trip.

Sent one in after 5 yrs of hard use an was repaired and sent back. Tried with another from same company but they would not take it because of modifications…so ….if you change anything on your pistol except grips it will void the warranty!
