rishii Posted March 23, 2023 Share Posted March 23, 2023 I had a buddy cook one off in the holster, missed his foot by about 4” it was an old hogue power speed that the lock retention was a bar that went into the trigger guard to lock it, add an extra long trigger, he took the safety off on the draw while the gun was still in the holster, pushed down slightly and boom. ltdmstr Posted March 24, 2023 Share Posted March 24, 2023 Good practice with 1911/2011 is to keep your thumb on the underside of the safety when your holstering.
