Racinready300ex
I have a slide cut for a reverse plug, but I want to use a bushing barrel. Any problem just running a standard bushing plug that's not got the wider section of the reverse plug? I'm assume the slide isn't more prone to crack due to the reverse plug cut not being filled. It also seems the reverse plug was cut a little deep so even if I use a bull barrel and a reverse plug it wont sit flush with the back of the slide. Hopefully I'm explaining that in a way that makes sense.
Braxton1
That should present no problems at all, especially if the slide was cut for a collared plug.

Yeah, it's a collared reverse plug. I wasn't sure the what they were called. After googling that, that is what the slide is cut for.
Amerflyer48
Nope, and the plus is you can now pin capture the plug to the guiderod ( I have a few bent paperclips in the rangebag) and remove it out the back when cleaning it like the old bushing open guns. My Delta Elite and Gold Cup have been that way since 1990 or so.
