ysrracer
Can I run coated bullets like Hoosier 124 RN in my PCC, or should I stick to jacketed? When I load 124 RN Zero bullets, I run my OAL at 1.12, but Hoosier has a different profile and I need to run them at 1.085 to get them to plunk. Thoughts? Quote Link to comment
CClassForLife
As long as you don't mind cleaning your compensator from fouling, then go ahead. I ran 125 gr coated at a similar OAL (~1.08) through multiple PCCs. Quote Link to comment
ysrracer
Thanks, maybe I'll just stick with jacketed bullets. Quote Link to comment
Boomstick303
JHPs are the best. I still get leading on my PCC comp using FMJ. The lead build up on the PCC comp using coated was significant. I figure out how to clean it pretty easy but it does take some effort, so if you are maintenance adverse its not recommended. Quote Link to comment
