moose97
What's the secret to removing the screw for the Shadow 2 mag release paddle/button? I've read it's easy to strip. Thanks in advance. Edited July 12, 2022 by moose97
mveto
Heat and a good quality torx bit, I’ve always used a lighter to break up any loctite before removing the screw.

George16
If you have a soldering iron, use it to break the bond of the loctite.
moose97
Heat was the trick. Got it off. Thanks all. Follow-up question - I thought it was anodized. Apparently it's not. Is it cerakoted? Or, does anyone know a good way to strip the finish for a raw metal look to match (or will it not?) raw aluminum grips, magwell & baseplates? Posvar
Heat for sure. I touch the tip of my soldering gun to it for a few seconds and it will break lose. If you don't use red loctite it will loosen and say bye bye. On the finish, maybe try sandblasting?
