Hi Everyone,

Im currently trying to figure out my 625 PC 4" (again) with iron sights. I shoot this gun for a couple of years with an optic but looking to now use it for limited 6 in ICORE. Any who, I installed a Hi-Viz .250" front sight but can only see about half of the fiber, the other half gets cut off buy the sight. I was told by a friend to file down the notch but its almost down to the mount now 😕 .  Currently it has a .100" rear sight with a .70" notch. What rear sight sight blade should I be looking for .160" so I can file it out?

thanks

If you get just the blade, you have to get the nut and windage screw.  It's not a hard install.

Procedure is to tighten the old screw until it breaks, then install the new stuff (don't lose the detente though, install and using a center punch carefully punch the left end of the new screw.  That crimps it to the new nut.

Or you can buy the whole assembly   https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1004431882?pid=242918

Brownells also carries them.

Once you do this you "may" have to change FS again.  Though my 4" Pro works ok with a .250 high FS.

Either way you need the RS blade notch to be at least .08" deep.
