Foxtrot Mike BCG for Competition Rifle

Recommended Posts

I have a Foxtrot Mike 9mm BCG.  Apparently the CMMG and Wilson firing pins don't fit their BCG.  They will sell me a "Maintenance Kit" for 20 bucks.  I want to use this rifle for steel challenge and other matches and want to have reliability and ease of getting parts.  Am I better off to replace the bolt with one that uses more "Standard" pins and springs?  Or should I stick it out and hope for the best?  Also, does anyone have a list of which bolt carriers groups will accept Wilson, or CMMG or PSA pins/spring?

I didn't know this about the Foxtrot Mike BCG until I happened to get light primer strikes. Went to put in a DaVinci firing pin and spring. The pin fit but the spring wouldn't. Had to use the Foxtrot Mike spring. Swapping firing pins seemed to cure my light primer strikes.

Never heard that one before.

Every 9mm BCG (except for JP) that I’ve touched all used a compatible firing pin.

You are wrong. Olympic Arms pcc uses regular AR firing pin and they don't break. Hope I didn't jinx myself, lol.

They all break. It’s just a matter of round count and circumstance
