Ed Brown 8rd .45acp magazines (model 848) and magwells?

I run the classic "bumber pads" on 7 round mags which are about 1/2 thick with an old King's magwell.

The Ed Brown model 848 - 8 round mags have a lengthened tube and plastic base pad.

Anyone know if they are they are long enough to use with magwells?

I have one of the old Ed Brown 8 Pack mags that works with every magwell but the Dawson Ice. Not sure if it has the same dimensions as the magazine you're talking about.

Will they take the Dawson basepads? If so, that should make them work.

They work fine.

 

And let me say these mags have the slickest most polished finish of any brand of magazine I have ever used.

Very good quality.
