crash83 Posted January 10, 2022 Share Posted January 10, 2022 Picked up a very slightly used Shadow 2 Black and Blue a few weeks ago and while dry firing the right hand side [from the rear , as held to shoot] safety lever popped off the gun. After looking around at diagrams for the Shadow 2 I took it apart and seen the right hand safety detent was missing. Called the original owner and he swears he has never took the gun apart other than field stripping. So i looked around to find one in stock and every time I came to a "does this part fit my model" it says no. So does the Shadow 2 use a safety detent on the left[with a spring] and on the right [without a spring] or is there another issue I'm missing? Trust me............having jumped over to the CZ platform last year, I can definitely relate to your frustration when trying to order parts and most of the time they are unavailable. Just a fact of owning a CZ. You may want to touch base with CGW as they might have a good used one to get you going.
