Liota
It's 25 meters to the target. Do you think I can make the shot? Or should I just throw the magazine at it?
Matt Cheely
Impress them by keeping the whole mag in the 10 ring with the happy switch on. If you get a happy switch...
Wakal
A few years ago, I "won" a short notice deployment (one of the famous "notified on Thursday that you will be in the desert on Monday" things) and had to qualify before I left. Ended up over at the armory at lunch time...they gave me three mags, a vintage M16, and one sight-in target (on a sheet of standard-sized paper). They forced me to play the carnival game: cut the target out of the paper without leaving any black (at 10 yards). Oh, the horror Best. Qualification. Ever. Liota
Well, the results are done. I shot today, but did not get expert. Learned something, though. Did you know the front sight is about the size and consistency of a cotton ball while you're wearing your gas mask and no glasses??? Who knew? I have gas mask inserts, but I discovered today that when they were manufactured with my glasses, the prescriptions were swapped between eyes. Talk about interesting!!! No additional stars or bragging rights. Darn. Liota
