Early On The Trigger With A Glock?

Religious Shooter

Recommended Posts

Page 40 in the November/December Front Sight. There is a picture of Sevigny.

Sevigny looks like he is early on the trigger. As far as I know I'm on the trigger when or after my hands come together. He look likes he is at least into the trigger guard or maybe even prepping the trigger before his hands come together.

Anybody else do this with a Glock? What do you guys think? Super ninja technique? A fluke?

It's probably not a fluke. I normally start pulling the slack out before the gun is in two hands. Soon as it comes out of the holster it's rotated towards the target. Of the two "AD's" that I've had this year, one hit the 15 yd plate that I was going to aim at, the other was at Area 2 and was a D hit.

Sevigny shoots stock Glock triggers- 2 stage with stacking before the break.. less chance of a ND here.. although personally I would wait just a wee bit longer.. Ernie Langdon preps his Beretta triggers early too..

definitely a Master/GM technique ...
