boss281
Regarding FACTORY loads for PCCs: Last weekend I ran a CZ Scorpion 9mm in an "outlaw" falling Steel match, and earlier today a sanctioned Tier 1 match using a Colt 6921 9mm. I didn't expect to do well--I didn't--but I had fun and got a taste of both unsanctioned and sanctioned matches. I have a mix of 9mm in my stash: 115, 124 and 147g, the latter defensive rounds used in my pistols. The 147 defense loads do NOT cycle well in either rifle. I understand the Colt and CZ rifle is probably not considered optimal for Steel Challenge or USPSA for that matter, but it's what I own and what I'll be using for the time being (I'm retired and need to plan withdrawals monthly for 'mad money'). Does the 115g recommendation apply for factory loads as well? One of the fellas running great times mentioned 90g frangible loads but with the difficulty buying anything I'm likely going to have to stick with what I have in my closet for the next 6 months or so. Thanks in advance. John Link to comment
Shootingaggie
My CZ scorpion does great with 147, but also with any factory 115. When I use the syntech 150s, the dot doesn’t move much at all. Link to comment
