Vv320 In Shorty .38 Super.

Hi!!

Have anybody tried VV320 in a shorty .38Super??

I read in VV site that it has similar burnrate as IMR7625. I cant buy IMR because no dealers in Sweden.

I have tried different powder (Vectan SP2 and VV350 and VV340) but got huge flames .

My set up is:

SPS shorty .38super

Barell Novlin with x7 comp

recoil spring 8-9 or RM (have not decide it what I like)

Any proposal or tips??

Sounds great.. for Minor and steel loads. For Major? I'd think way too much pressure to be safe.

+ your comp will not have enough gas to work it.

i run 4.3 gr of vvn320 in my steel gun and it goes a whopping 960fps-fast burning stuff...wouldn't think about stuffing it into a major load.

you didn't state what gr bullet you plan on shooting.

but 105 is very soft shooting.

i have hybrid holes and a shorty

my load is vv105 10.3 grs and a 125jhp.

oal 1.225

and works really well.

this is load at your own risk.
