AlamoShooter
I would like to try a lightened Benelli bolt carrier. Don't quite understand the finer points but am willing to give one a tryIn my head I'm still attempting to reconcile the fact a heavier charging handle seems to make a Benelli cycle more reliably with the benefits to be gained by a lightened carrier. Sometimes 'ya just gotta cut-and-try. This is one of the thing Competition proves over "Feel & guessing" shooting a plate rack with set spacing can test the transition times of the gun when in the hands of a Good shooter. Transition times of under 0.50 is not that big a deal from target to target. transition times under 0.30 is what makes for some fun speed. Taking split times down for two hits with slugs on paper targets is what helps boost confidence in mid level shooters. I came to 3 gun from Sporting Clays, you want a gun that points ware you look, and that will recover to the next bird quick. With Benny's work on the M2 the gun recovers as quicker than my over & under

benny hill
Transition times from plate to plate is about .018-.020 for a top shooter.
