hkvp9
What are you guys using for a sizing die for 38SC ? I'm using a Redding 38 Super Auto titanium carbide die and it seems to not be sizing all the way down the case. Slight bulge at the bottom of the case. Thanks in advance. Steve RA
Only way to beat that is to go to a push thru set up.
TRPOperator
They make a Lee U Die that seems to work a little better. I have both
Ming the Merciless
The Redding die has a pretty generous chamfer at the bottom of the die. Lee carbide dies have a much smaller chamfer and will size further down the case and the Lee U (undersize) die has the least chamfer and is slightly smaller in diameter. Also use case lube, it makes it so much easier to size.
TONY BARONE
EGW U-die.
TRPOperator
The Lee or EGW will work!! Both are made by Lee. I have a MarkVII Press so instead of a decapping die, I use the Redding 1st and then the Lee without the decap pin. I lube the cases and it runs really smooth since I am not under sizing right off. If you dont have that option the Lee or EGW might solve your problems.
