GregInAtl
I just got my conversion kit today (45acp to 9mm) from Dillon for my XL 650. I was in the process of setting it up and while removing the 45acp components, this thing fell on the floor. Does anyone know what it is? I'm thinking it's part of the primer assembly but maybe I'm wrong

George16
That goes into the ring indexer. Hopefully, the little spring is still inside the indexer where that pawl goes into.

Unfortunately the spring isn't in there. It's probably on the floor somewhere. I must have pulled them out when I took the shell plate off. I'll look for it and if I can't find it, I'll call Dillon

They sent me a new spring when I lost mine.
GregInAtl
Btw, do you know if the primer punch is supposed to be included in the conversion kit. I didn't get one, just wondering
George16
No it doesn’t. The XL650 comes with both the large and small primer punch from Dillon. Let them know you need one when you call them for the pawl so they can send you one.
