Is this off my 650?

Recommended Posts

I just got my conversion kit today (45acp to 9mm) from Dillon for my XL 650. I was in the process of setting it up and while removing the 45acp components, this thing fell on the floor. Does anyone know what it is?

I'm thinking it's part of the primer assembly but maybe I'm wrong

It goes underneath the shell plate. Index pawl. We call it the hammer

Hopefully, the little spring is still inside the indexer where that pawl goes into.

Unfortunately the spring isn't in there. It's probably on the floor somewhere. I must have pulled them out when I took the shell plate off. I'll look for it and if I can't find it, I'll call Dillon

That sucks.

Yeah, give Dillon a call. They sent me a new spring when I lost mine.
