ahfox32
Anyone have any hands on experience with this pistol? The 6" barrel length looks promising.

ahfox32
I ordered one and picked it up yesterday. Chamber is skinny so I'll need to get it reamed for my reloads to work. Picked up some factory loads to shoot for now. Gun seems to be well balanced but I'll know more once I put some rounds thru it. Finish is nice but has a rougher texture than my other Tanfos. The guiderod is different and the barrel comes out the back of the slide. Trigger is way different also. Sorta a blend of flat/curved but I do like it. Does have a good bit of takeup. Will reserve judgement on trigger work until I shoot it some. Seems to be about 2 1/2 - 3 lbs. Overall.....for the price I'm pleased......if it's accurate and functions well. Couple of cheesy cell phone pics below.
Apolo
Wonder what would happen if you stick that guide rod in a lathe, get rid of that extra metal, and allow that slide to move?
ahfox32
Good question. Was the rod made this way for balance (weight)? Easier disassembly? Hopefully I can shoot it some this weekend.
