Hawk21
Cerakoting a 2011 frame and need to remove ejector as there is oil bleeding out after several gas out attempts I believe it has red loctite so I plan to hit it with the heat gun first but need advice on what tools/methods work well for removal
jcc7x7
Remove pin Clamp in vise, mini tourch ,from hobby shop, inside the magwell. When you smell the loctite wiggle the frame off the ejector.
zzt
I use a very thin bladed screw driver. Slip it into the cutout on the bottom of the ejector and pry up. Once you get it started you can pull it all the way out with your fingers. I've never heard of red Loctiting the ejector. Why? If installed correctly, the pin prevents removal, or even lifting.
