rooster mcbee
I'm looking for recommendations for 115 gr. Steel Challenge loads with Sports Pistol powder. I'll be shooting a Walther PPQ 5 inch polymer frame. Thank you, Doug
RickT
Don't know about a PPQ, but 3.5gr cycles our 9mm 1911s. Generally don't take chrono data as for steel challenge I pay more attention to how the gun cycles. Our same guns run find with 124gr @ 3.1gr SP, but really no need to go that low on an all steel gun. This is with Bayou, but my experience with Acme has been similar. Dwbsig
I got a 115 gr coated bullet load that I’m using with 3.5 grs sport pistol in a s-2 ,works fine with 11 lb recoil spring. Haven’t tried any other powder charges this load seemed to work good for me.
