ParaGunner
Looking for some starting data for 38sc, 124gr bullets,5" barrel with comp and 4 holes. Winchester Autocomp powder. Did some searching and couldn't find anything. Thanks Edited April 16, 2019 by ParaGunner Add powder
Hi-Power Jack
I use WAC in my 9mm Major loads, and I'm sure it's fine for .38 SC, BUT, the advantage of .38 SC is that there are other, much better, powders to use than WAC. If you happen to have a whole lot of it and need to use it anyway, I'd start with about 7.5 gr at 1.165" OAL, and work up, slowly, with a chrono. ParaGunner
Just looking for a few starting suggestions. I was thinking starting in the 6.5-7 GRN area. 38sc will have a 1.25 oal 16 minutes ago, Hi-Power Jack said: I use WAC in my 9mm Major loads, and I'm sure it's fine for .38 SC, BUT, the advantage of .38 SC is that there are other, much better, powders to use than WAC.
