RGC
I am looking for a production gun for occasion fun use....considering the XFive or XCalibur....lots of X's apparently. Have shot both sparingly. Liked the recoil of the GP, liked the trigger of the Sig...shot both similarly. Particular preferences or notes on wear or tear issues? philippshen
I would say X5 because of the parts availability.
philippshen
And you can shoot X5 in both USPSA & IDPA, XCalibur is not legal in IDPA since it has a bull barrel

Stmark73
I own a GP X-calibur and have not shot an X-5. It’s true aftermarket parts are difficult to find. The only upgrades I did was replace the recoil spring (cz 13lbs recoil spring cut to fit) and hammer spring(tanfoglio hammer spring). It shoots better than my shadow 2. retiredshooter
I would go with the sig x5 because of the trigger and support
