Docdobbs45
Looking for opinions on what guns to keep, sell and use. For Single Stack, I have just ordered a great custom Ed Brown 45acp that ill get near end of this year. Also, i have a STI Sentinel Premier 45acp that could be my back up. However, I have an Atlas Gunworks SS in 9mm and a Dan Wesson Specialist for back up in 9mm. Here is what I am thinking about doing. (note, i have nice guns but need a lot of training to get into top 25% in matches.) My plan, Use new Ed Brown for major matches and keeping my Atlas 9mm to shoot some local matches and as backup if needed at major matches, hopefully wont need backup, but... Then selling other 2 mentioned guns to fund training class and ammo. What do you think? Thanks.
RangerTrace
Well, I'd use whichever 9mm you like for cheap practice and whichever 45 you like for matches. Knowing there will be a difference in recoil up front.
Timmeh
Having one of each is a great idea, what you end up working on is important too!
perttime
Nice pistols. I enjoy .45 so much that I'd keep both of those.... Edited September 6, 2018 by perttime
