jrdoran
Our local indoor range has a DIY plate rack that someone prior built. The rack seems fine, but one issue is it slides on the floor when we pull on the rope to reset the plates. The legs are angle iron against concrete so apparently more friction is needed against floor or more leverage and less force to reset the plates. Any ideas or suggestions that anyone might have are welcome before I break out my welder and red neck engineering. https://www.icloud.com/sharedalbum/#B0xGDdyTvGySgSg
Arlin
Can you anchor it to the back stop with cable or chain?
MemphisMechanic
Maximize friction. You have a steel ski on a slick surface. Drill the corners for some rubber feet like these: https://www.zoro.com/zoro-select-vibration-isolator-50-lb-max-14-20-2npe4/i/G2062952/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIyYOSh9jV2QIVjsDICh1cnQNVEAQYCiABEgIVFPD_BwE I’m not offering a guess here, either. I built a swinger for a local indoor club and doing this stopped it from walking across the floor.

jrdoran
Ended up buying casters at home depot that lock not only wheel, but also caster rotation. I'll post a pic later, but had to make a base for the wheels, but overall worked out OK; Also lengthening the reset arm so less force required helped alot;

Timmeh
And depending on how your indoor range likes the drag coming off, you can do a basic 2x6/2x8 frame to keep that enclosed! Works well with poppers inside
