(I dont have original mags but replacement tube - BROWNELLS STORE) Do you think that these mags have big cut transport of round ??
Sixgun
Is the second round "sliding" under your feed ramp, and then causing the jam? My gunsmith told me this was a common problem with the .40 S_I's. His fix was to tig weld some extra material at the base of the feedramp, and basically create an elongated feedramp. It's worked like a charm in my Limited gun. benny hill
Put in ISMI springs & make sure the feed lips are set at .380 & you won't have this problem again.
GuildSF4
Could be the mags/springs. May also try polishing the feed ramp as recommended by BE in this post http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?...ramp,and,polish . It has helped out on a few guns... blkbrd
My Limited gun used to do this with new springs, the fix was silicone lube on the loaded rounds followed by a tumble in a towel. Cleans and lubes the rounds and they jump out of the mag now. + You can also can use a lighter recoil spring and still be 100% reliable.
ErikW
In addition to tight magazine lips or a weak magazine spring, it could be a weak recoil spring. (Or a kludged recoil system with a shock buffer, foo-foo guide rod system, or the like.)
cking
From your pic you do have a small bump in feed ramp mag area. Check all mags to see if the height is same on all of them. Then you could extend your ramp down a hair. Right at the area you circled.
benny hill
With proper mags, the rds should hit in the upper 50% of the feed ramp, if it is not you have a mag problem not a ramp problem.
