jima60
I will be moving to Vermont in January. What matches are held near Montpelier? I also need a gun range to practice at, any suggestions?
NoSteel
Welcome!!!. Green Mountain Practical Shooters (http://www.gmpsvt.com) about 40min from you @ Lamoille Valley Fish And Game club, Morrisvile VT. If you join GMPS you also get annual membership to Lamoilles range. Monthly matches, yes even through the winter. You will also gain information on matches in N.H. and N.Y. As well as others in Vermont thruout the year are discussed at these matches. Great group of folks with ~ 40 -50 competitors.. matches are on Sunday's with Saturday used as set up day. 5-6 stage matches, with classifier. jima60
Great! Thanks for the info!! I'll join as soon as I get there. I'm a CRO/Multi-Gun and create the stages for my current club (6 stages a month). I won't have a lot of time when I first get there but once I get settle I can help with matches. 9x45
How do you get the brass out of the snow? Wait until spring?
mccurdy53
Spring in Vermont is a wonderful time for lots of reasons. Brass looks a lot like gold when it is just laying on the ground.
