Chills1994
Just an FYI... Menards sells butcher block "counter" material made up from birch strips glued together. It looks like they are all 1.5 inches thick, but come in various widths and lengths: https://www.menards.com/main/search.html?search=butcher+block EDIT: if you wanted to use a butcher block top for your reloading bench. SlvrDragon50
Was considering this but decided to go with a 30" depth pine board instead.

Tom S.
Best thing I ever had was a section of bowling alley. 2" thick and almost nuclear proof. Wish I still had it.
Maximis228
I went to grab this exact one at my local Menards and every single one (all 10 in stock) had some sort of crack or separation between the boards. Ended up just making my own.

Wish I still had it. Yeah I had a bowling alley section once too. The 2" thick maple strips were tongue and grooved together. And they were nailed together with spiral shanked nails which made it near impossible to take apart. Here is the pricing on those birch butcher block tops from Menards: That comes out to $6.50 a board foot. I haven't priced out rough lumber in my area for quite some time. Because of their size, I didn't get to look at them closely. when I tried gluing up my latest top, I should have done this: https://youtu.be/ya1-xWjTzT0 face to face instead of edge to edge
