jeffz
All, I need some clarification on the grip tape rules. I am a Life member of the USPSA. My number is in the three hundreds. I have not been competing for 20+ years and would like to resume. I am setting up my HK VP 40 for Limited division, shooting as a Super Senior. I am adding grip tape and have read the rule book(s). My question is simple, but I wish to confirm I am correct before expending time and energy. The Appendix E4 applies only to Production Division - Correct? In the Limited Division I can add grip tape to the frame as well as the magazine well - Correct? Thanks for the help.
GrumpyOne
I believe you are correct. Only in Production is there a prohibition against adding grip tape in areas other than specified by the diagram.

gng4life
Yes, you are correct. Limited is good to go. There have been some changes to Limited since you last competed so it's good you are going through the rule book. Good luck!
ChuckS
Jeff, you have it right. One thing to keep in mind: if you want to put grip tape on the basepads of your magazines, be sure to check them in a mag gauge . More than one soul has been bumped to open due to this issue.
