JNW
I just installed a Deltapoint Pro on my Gen 4 G34. It does not have the MOS, so I mounted it with the Leupold pistol mounting system. To get it to shoot to POA at 50 feet I have the elevation adjustment cranked all the way up. It of course shoots low closer in. It appears to be mounted correctly and the base of the sight is flat on the slide. Is this unusual? Do I have to shim it? If so, how do you shim one of these? I realize the Deltapoint sits pretty high, but did not think it would be this bad. I do really like a red dot on this gun. Thanks, Jeff Edited October 12, 2017 by JNW

JNW
Thanks for that link. I’ll take another hard look at my slide/mount/optic fit. If it looks okay I’ll contact Leupold. Jeff
9x45
First thing is to check that your mounting screws are not bottoming out. It's fairly common with these systems. Then, yes, you may have to shim it, also not uncommon. https://www.amazon.com/TACTICAL-Delrin-Fastfire-Docters-Sightmark/dp/B00L5RS2FM
JNW
Working on getting a shim. Turns out JP Rifle is about 20 minutes from my house. Waiting to hear back from them. Jeff
