Religious Shooter
Great West went up to $65/1000 for .40 180's jacketed. Last time I checked they didn't have any in stock. I'm looking for lead (moly prefferred) bullets for practice and relegate MG and GW to matches. Looking to buy at $40-$45 / 1000. The Turner's in Reseda doesn't have any .40 lead. Angeles doesn't have anything. Can anybody point out another vendor that's around the LA area?
sargenv
Bear Creek will ship you 180 in SWC or Truncated cone for like $54/k plus tax if your minimum order is $70 or more (so order 1500 or so). They'll come US postal though, you might irritate your carrier. Vince

ChuckS
Try Dave Lawver of Dave's Metal Works. 626-859-0299. A friend swears by his .45 200 gr lead SWC. I think the price was ~ 38/1K of those. I am not sure if he does .40. Won't hurt to try. Later, Chuck PS: With a subject like "Looking for bullets Los Angeles area", I can't believe that someone has not yet made the ususal Freeway or Compton joke... ricciardelli
From what I read in the papers and see on television, all you have to do is walk down any street in LA, and there are bullets lying all over the sidewalk...
