Different frame profile between Shadows

I've got two SP-01 Shadows. I bought one used and one new.  They're slightly different at the beavertail profile. 

 

Did CZ make updates/changes at some point.

Maybe just variances in the forging / finishing process? I've noticed slight differences in the checkering between some older and newer ones I have, just assumed it was variance depending on how old/new the forging mold was. Also in the marketing for new Shadow 2 you see them highlight that the new frames are CNC'd I believe 'on modern equipment', so they'll probably have a lot less variance frame to frame.

A friend had and SP01, a Shadow SA, and a Shadow Target together and they were all slightly different.

Some cut deeper than others and some undercut beneath trigger guard more.

I have a 09 and a 14 - the 9 has less relief under the beavertail, and the checkering on the front strap is different.  I think they updated the mold at some point.  The new frame is nicer for sure.

Mine are all slightly different as well.

Of my 6 Shadows only the most current 2 have the same beavertails, the other 4 are all different, from those 2 and from each other. Only slightly, but still different.
