jstagn
How often do you change mag springs on your 'Match' magazines? For example every year, 2 years? Or after how many full loads? OR any other reason you change. Thanks.
jstagn
I did see the answer to my question in an older post. I guess every year or whenever you may encounter a problem. Please feel free to post your own observations.
NewColonial
It depends on how much you shoot. I actually have data to track my experience since, unfortunately, replacement springs for my 18 round Mec-Gar Sig P226 mags are no longer available. I started experiencing double feeds and knew it was time. I looked back through my email, and found for the last three years, almost to the month, I replaced magazines. Now I'm going to start saving the new mags ONLY for matches, and using the old ones for practice instead of putting them away. Maybe I'll get two years out of them. Foxj66
I take springs out of my match mags and move them to the practice mags when they start having issues and new springs go in the match mags

SIG keeps racking up the reasons to be unlikeable. Seriously. Have you tried warranty with MecGar or SIG? Someone should stand behind their product or at least sell a replacement. I just need to sell my 226. it hasn't been touched in years.
NewColonial
I can hardly complain about a gun that I shoot so much I wear out magazine springs every year. The fact that the Italians won't ship replacement springs for their magazines any longer, I do complain about.
