Chriswakey
It's the on that comes on the factory tactical and competition models. I have one on mine and it works fine and gets rid of the dreaded prongs of death!
GunCat
The VersaMax Competition lifter is the black one in this photo. It is the same overall length as the standard lifter but with the end groove filled in.
adamge
A company in Canada sells a full length, flat front lifter for the VM and SBE2. I imagine it would cost about $80USD shipped to the States? I really like mine. You can send one of those Comp lifters to Jeff at C-Rums and he will make it look just like the longer lifter in my picture above.
psyclone
I bought the Competition lifter from Brownells for my VM TACTICAL-so the fork has been filled in, works flawlessly and my thumbnail is no longer in danger. The one mod I did make was that I filed down the hump so it loads easier and also so be able to unload via the shell catch. While it is not a long as the CRums modified lifter, I have had no feeding issues that some have had because of weight added to the lifter, or shells not being centered. The Brownells did work well before I filed the hump down-it was a harder push to load, and I had to cycle the rounds into the chamber to unload.
